 I am also ordering another blanket for my friend who lost her husband and... left behind a 5 year old son. As military families we are always aware of how fragile life can be an of how important keeping memories alive is - whether our loved one is TDY, Deployed or has passed. These blankets do a lot to help heal and comfort.

"I found an awesome Christmas present that is going to make the next 9 months a lot easier. I just had blankets made at www.photoweavers.com for my daughters and Joe so they can be wrapped up in family huge whenever they are sad or lonely. How to Ship to an APO (Army Post Office)

 All shipments to APO's are shipped to the United States and the Post Cffice scans the packages and ships them to your unit.

Three "state" codes have been assigned depending on the geographic location of the military mail recipient and also the carrier route used for sorting the mail. They are:

• AE (ZIPs 09xxx) for Armed Forces Europe which includes Canada, Middle East, and Africa
• AP (ZIPs 962xx - 966xx) for Armed Forces Pacific
• AA (ZIPs 340xx) for Armed Forces (Central and South) Americas

 To fill out the shipping fields make sure you follow these guidelines:

Name:  Soldiers Name

Address: Army Unit Name

State (either AE, AP or AA)

Country United States

Zip  use the Army Unit Zip Code
